اللہ تعالیٰ کا فرمان

(4) CHAPTER. The Statement of Allah: “(Remember) when you sought help of your Lord and He answered you (saying: 'I will help you with a thousand of a angels each behind the other (following one another) in succession.' Allah made it only as glad tidings, and that your hearts be at rest therewith. And there is no victory except from Allah. verily, Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise. (Remember) when He covered you with a slumber as a security from Him, and He caused water (rain) to descend on you from the sky, to clean you thereby and to remove from you the Rijz (whispering, evil-suggestions) of Shaitan (Satan), and to strengthen yor hearts, and make your feet firm thereby. (Remember) when your Lord revealed to the angels, 'Verily, I am with you so keep firm those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelived, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes.' This is because they defined and disobeys Allah and His Messenger, then verily, Allah is Severe in punisllment.” (V.8:9-13)

حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ بْنَ عَازِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ جَعَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الرَّجَّالَةِ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ، وَأَقْبَلُوا مُنْهَزِمِينَ، فَذَاكَ إِذْ يَدْعُوهُمُ الرَّسُولُ فِي أُخْرَاهُمْ.

Narrated Al-Bara' bin `Azib: The Prophet appointed `Abdullah bin Jubair as the commander of the cavalry archers on the day of the battle of Uhud. Then they returned defeated, and that what is referred to by Allah's Statement:-- And the Apostle (Muhammad) was in your rear calling you back. (3.153)

مجھ سے عمرو بن خالد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے زہیر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابواسحاق نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ غزوہ احد کے موقع پر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( تیر اندازوں کے ) پیدل دستہ کا امیر عبداللہ بن جبیر رضی اللہ عنہما کو بنایا تھا لیکن وہ لوگ شکست خوردہ ہو کر آئے۔ ( آیت «يدعوهم الرسول في أخراهم‏.‏» ان ہی کے بارے میں نازل ہوئی تھی ) اور یہ ہزیمت اس وقت پیش آئی جبکہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان کو پیچھے سے پکار رہے تھے۔
