رات میں آنکھ کھل جائے تو کیا دعا پڑھے؟
Chapter: What One Should Say When Waking Up In The Morning
It was narrated that ‘Ubadah bin As-Samit said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Whoever wakes up in the morning and says upon waking: La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in Qadir; Subhan-Allah walhamdu lillahi, wa la ilaha illallahu, wa Allahu Akbar, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahil-‘Aliyil-‘Azim (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, with no partner or associate. His is the dominion and all praise is to Him, and He is Able to do all things. Glory is to Allah, praise is to Allah, none has the right to be worshiped but Allah, Allah is the Most Great, and there is no power and no strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Supreme), then he supplicates Rabbighfirli (O Lord, forgive me), he will be forgiven.’” Walid said: “Or he said: then if he supplicated, it will be answered for him then if he stood up and performed ablution and then performed prayer, his prayer would be accepted.”
عبادہ بن صامت رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو رات میں بیدار ہو اور آنکھ کھلتے ہی یہ دعا پڑھے: «لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير سبحان الله والحمد لله ولا إله إلا الله والله أكبر ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله العلي العظيم» اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی معبود برحق نہیں، وہ یکتا ہے اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، اسی کے لیے بادشاہت ہے، اور اسی کے لیے حمد و ثنا ہے، وہی ہر چیز پر قادر ہے، اللہ کی پاکی بیان کرتا ہوں، تمام تعریفیں اللہ ہی کے لیے ہیں، اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں، اللہ ہی سب سے بڑا ہے، طاقت و قوت اللہ بلند و برتر کی توفیق ہی سے ہے پھر یہ دعا پڑھے: «رب اغفر لي» اے رب مجھ کو بخش دے ، تو وہ بخش دیا جائے گا، ولید کہتے ہیں: یا یوں کہا: اگر وہ دعا کرے تو اس کی دعا قبول ہو گی، اور اگر اٹھ کر وضو کرے، پھر نماز پڑھے تو اس کی نماز قبول ہو گی۔
Rabi’ah bin Ka’b Al-Aslami narrated that he used to spend the night outside the door of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and he used to hear the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying at night: “Subhan Allahi Rabbil-‘alamin (Glory is to Allah, the Lord of the worlds),” repeating that for a while, then he said: Subhan Allahi wa bihamdihi (Glory and praise is to Allah).”
ربیعہ بن کعب اسلمی رضی اللہ عنہ خبر دیتے ہیں کہ وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے دروازے کے پاس رات گزارتے تھے اور رات کو بڑی دیر تک آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سنتے: «سبحان الله رب العالمين» پھر فرماتے: «سبحان الله وبحمده» ۱؎۔
It was narrated that Hudhaifah said: “Whenever the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) woke up in the morning, he would say: ‘Al-hamdu lillahil-ladhi ahyana ba’dama amatana wa ilayhi’n-nushur (Praise is to Allah Who has given us life after taking it from us, and unto Him is the Resurrection).’”
حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب رات کو جاگتے تو یہ دعا پڑھتے: «الحمد لله الذي أحيانا بعد ما أماتنا وإليه النشور» تمام تعریف اس اللہ کے لیے ہے جس نے ہم کو ( نیند کی صورت میں ) موت طاری کرنے کے بعد دوبارہ زندہ کیا، اور اسی کی طرف اٹھ کر جا نا ہے ۱؎۔
It was narrated from Mu’adh bin Jabal that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “There is no person who goes to bed in a state of purity, then wakes up at night, and asks Allah for something in this world or the Hereafter, but it will be given to him.”
معاذ بن جبل رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو کوئی بندہ رات کو باوضو سوئے، اور پھر رات میں اٹھ کر اللہ تعالیٰ سے دنیا و آخرت کی کسی چیز کا سوال کرے تو اللہ تعالیٰ اسے دیتا ہے ۔
