کتاب: قسموں کا بیان

The book of oaths

غیر اللہ کی قسم کھانے کی ممانعت

Chapter: The prohibition of swearing by something other than Allah

جس نے لات اور عزیٰ کی قسم کھائی وہ لا الہ الاّ اللہ کہے

Chapter: Whoever swears by Al-Lat and Al-Uzza, let him say La Ilaha Illallah

جس نے (کسی کام کی )قسم کھائی ‘پھر کسی دوسرے کام کو اس سے بہتر سمجھا تو اس کے لیے مستحب ہے کہ وہ وہی کرے جو بہتر ہے اور اپنی قسم کا کفارہ دے

Chapter: It is recommended for the one who swears an oath then sees that something else is better than it; To do that which is better and offer expiation for his oath

قسم میں حلف لینے والے کی نیت کا اعتبار ہو گا

Chapter: An oath is judged on the intention of the one who asks for it to be sworn.

قسم میں استثناء وغیرہ

Chapter: Saying: If Allah wills when swearing oaths and at other times

ایسی قسم پر اصرار کرنا منع ہے جس میں حلف اٹھانے والے کے اہل خانہ کو تکلیف ہو ‘چاہے وہ (کام )حرام نہ ہو

Chapter: The prohibition of persisting in an oath that will harm the family of the one who swears it, so long as not persisting in it does not involve anything unlawful

کفر کی حالت میں مانی ہوئی نذر ‘جب (نذر ماننے والا)مسلمان ہو جائے تو اس کا کیا کرے ؟

Chapter: The vow of a disbeliever, and what he should do about it if he becomes a muslim

غلاموں کے ساتھ حسن معاشرت اور اس شخص کا کفارہ جس نے اپنے غلام کو طماچہ مارا

Chapter: Treatment of slaves, and the expiation of one who slaps his slave

اس کے بارے میں سخت وعید جس نے اپنے غلام پرزنا کی تہمت لگائی

Chapter: Stern warning against accusing a slave of fornication

غلام کو وہ وہی کھلانا جو وہ (مالک خود)کھائے اور وہی پہنانا جو وہ مالک (خود)پہنے اور اس پر ایسی ذمہ داری نہ ڈالے جو اس کے بس میں نہ ہو

Chapter: Feeding a slave what one eats and clothing him as one clothes oneself, and not burdening him with more than he bear

غلام جب اپنے آقا کی خیر خواہی کرے اور اچھےے طریقے سے اللہ کی بندگی کرے تو اس کا اجرو ثواب

Chapter: The reward of a slave who is sincere towards his master and worships Allah properly

جس شخص نے ایک (مشتر کہ )غلام میں سے اپنا حصہ آزاد کر دیا

Chapter: One who frees his share in a slave

ایسے غلام کو بیچنے کا جواز جسے مالک کی موت کے بعد آزادی ملنی تھی

Chapter: Permissibility of selling a Mudabbar
