Chapter: Performing wudu’ after eating something that has been touched by fire - ۔ ایسی چیز سے وضو (کا حکم) منسو ہونا جسے آگ نے چھوا ہو - The book of menstruation - Sahih Muslim with Urdu and English Translation

وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ اللَّيْثِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ جَدِّي، حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، أَنَّ خَارِجَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ زَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «الْوُضُوءُ مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ»
Zaid b Thabit reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) say this: Ablution is obligatory (for one who takes anything) touched by fire.
حضرت زید بن ثابت ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ نے کہا کہ میں نے رسول اللہﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا : ایسی چیز ( کے کھانے ) س وضو ( لازم ہو جاتا ) ہے جسے آگ نے چھوا ہو ۔ ‘ ‘

قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ: أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، وَأَنَا أُحَدِّثُهُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنِ الْوُضُوءِ مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ؟ فَقَالَ: عُرْوَةُ، سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ»
Abdullah b. Ibrahim b. Qariz reported that he found Abu Huraira performing ablution in the mosque, who said: I am performing ablution because of having eaten pieces of cheese, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) say: Perform ablution (after eating anything) touched by fire.
۔ عبد اللہ بن ابراہیم بن قارظ نے بتایا کہ انہوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ کو مسجد میں وضو کرتے ہوئے پایا تو ابو ہریرہ ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ نے کہا : میں تو پنیر کے ٹکڑوں کی بنا پر وضو کر رہا ہوں جنہیں میں نے کھایا ہے کیونکہ میں نے رسول اللہﷺ کو سنا ، آپ فرما رہے تھے : ایسی چیز سے وضو کرو جسے آگ نے چھوا ہو ۔ ‘ ‘

قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ: أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، وَأَنَا أُحَدِّثُهُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنِ الْوُضُوءِ مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ؟ فَقَالَ: عُرْوَةُ، سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ»
Urwa reported on the authority of'A'isha, the wife of the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ), saying this: The Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said. Perform ablution (after eating) anything touched by fire.
۔ ابن شہاب نے کہا : مجھے سعید بن خالد بن عمرو بن عثمان نے ، جب میں اسے ( سابقہ سند سے ) یہ حدیث سنا رہا تھا ، بتایا کہ اس نے عروہ بن زبیر ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے ایسی چیز ( کھانے ) سے وضو کے بارے میں پوچھا جسے آگ نے چھوا ہے ، تو عروہ ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ نے کہا : میں نے نبیﷺ کی اہلیہ حضرت عائشہؓ سے سنا ، انہوں نے کہا : رسول اللہﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’ایسی چیز سے وضو کرو جسے آگ نے چھوا ہو

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ بْنِ قَعْنَبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ
Ibn 'Abbas reported: The Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) took (meat of) goat's shoulder and offered prayer and did not perform ablution.
عطاء بن یسار نے حضرت ابن عباس ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہﷺ نے بکری کا شانہ تناول فرمایا ، پھر نماز پڑھی اور وضو نہیں کیا ۔
