کتاب دیتوں کے بیان میں

The book of ad-diyait (blood - money).

اللہ تعالیٰ نے سورۃ نساء میں فرمایا

(1) CHAPTER. The Statement of Allah: “...And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell...” (V.4:93)

سورۃ المائدہ میں فرمان کہ جس نے مرتے کو بچا لیا اس نے گویا سب لوگوں کی جان بچالی

(2) CHAPTER. The Statement of Allah: “And if anyone saved a life...” (V.5:32)

حاکم کا قاتل سے پوچھ گچھ کرنا یہاں تک کہ وہ اقرار کر لے اور حدود میں اقرار ( اثباب جرم کیلئے ) کافی ہے ۔

(4) CHAPTER. To question the killer till he confesses; and confession is cases where Divinely prescribed punishment are imperative.

جب کسی نے پتھر یا ڈنڈے سے کسی کو قتل کیا

(5) CHAPTER. If someone kills (somebody) with a stone or with a stick.

اللہ تعالیٰ نے سورۃ المائدہ میں فرمایا کہ

(6) CHAPTER. The Statement of Allah: “(And We ordained therein for them:) Life for life, eye for eye, nose for nose, ear for ear, tooth for tooth and wounds equal for equal. But if anyone remits the retaliation by way of charity, it shall be for him an expiation. And whosoever does not judge by that which Allah has revealed, such are Az-Zalimun (polytheists, oppressor and wrongdoers - of a lesser degree).” (V.5:45)

پتھروں سے قصاص لینے کا بیان

(7) CHAPTER. Whoever punished ( a killer) with a stone (in retaliation).

جس کا کوئی قتل کر دیا گیا ہو اسے دو چیزوں میں ایک کا اختیار ہے ۔

(8) CHAPTER. The relative of the killed person has the right to choose one of two compensations (i.e., to have the killer killed, or to accept blood-money).

جو کوئی ناحق کسی کا خون کرنے کی فکر میں ہو اس کا گناہ

(9) CHAPTER. Whoever seeks to shed somebody's blood without any right.

قتل خطا میں مقتول کی موت کے بعد اس کے وارث کا معاف کرنا

(10) CHAPTER. Excusing somebody who killed another by mistake.

جب قاتل ایک مرتبہ قتل کا اقرار کر لے تو اسے قتل کر دیا جائے گا

(12) CHAPTER. If a killer confesses once, he should be killed.

عورت کے بدلہ میں مرد کا قتل کرنا جو عورت کا قاتل ہو

(13) CHAPTER. Killing a man for having killed a woman.

مردوں اور عورتوں کے درمیان زخموں میں بھی قصاص لیا جائے گا

(14) CHAPTER. Al-Qisas (Law of Equality in punishment) in cases of injury among men and women.

جس نے اپنا حق یا قصاص سلطان کی اجازت کے بغیر لے لیا

(15) CHAPTER. Whoever took his right or retaliation from somebody without submitting the case to the ruler.

جب کوئی ہجوم میں مر جائے یا مارا جائے تو اس کا کیا حکم ہے ؟

(15) CHAPTER. Whoever took his right or retaliation from somebody without submitting the case to the ruler.

اگر کسی نے غلطی سے اپنے آپ ہی کو مارڈالا تو اس کی کوئی دیت نہیں ہے

(17) CHAPTER. If someone kills himself by mistake then there is no Diya (blood-money) for him.

جب کسی نے کسی کو دانت سے کاٹا اور کاٹنے والے کا دانت ٹوٹ گیا تو اس کی کوئی دیت نہیں ہے

(18) CHAPTER. If somebody bites a man and has his one tooth broken.

دانت کے بدلے دانت

(20) CHAPTER. The Diya for (cutting) fingers.

اگر کئی آدمی ایک شخص کو قتل کر دیں تو کیا قصاص میں سب کو قتل کیا جائے گا یا قصاص لیا جائے گا ؟

(21) CHAPTER. If a group of people killed or injured one man, will all of them have to give Diya or be punished with the law of Al-Qisas (equality in punishment)?

قسامت کا بیان

(22) CHAPTER. Al-Qasama [the oath taken by fifty people (of the dfendant) regarding a murder case when no evidence is avaliable].

جس نے کسی کے گھر میں جھانکا اور انہوں نے جھانکنے والے کی آنکھ پھوڑدی تو اس پر دیت واجب نہیں ہوگی

(23) CHAPTER. If somebody peeps into the house of some people whereupon they poked his eye; he has no right to claim blood-money.
