کتاب جنازے کے احکام و مسائل

The book of al-janaiz (funerals).

جنازوں کے باب میں جو حدیثیں آئی ہیں ان کا بیان اور جس شخص کا آخری کلام لا الہٰ الا اللہ ہو ، اس کابیان

(1) CHAPTER. What is said about funerals, and those whose last words were: La ilaha illallah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah).

جنازہ میں شریک ہونے کاحکم

(2) CHAPTER. The order of following the funeral procession.

میت کو جب کفن میں لپیٹا جا چکا ہو تو اس کے پاس جانا ( جائز ہے )

(3) CHAPTER. Visiting the deceased person after he has been put in his shroud.

آدمی اپنی ذات سے موت کی خبر میت کے وارثوں کو سنا سکتا ہے

(3) CHAPTER. Visiting the deceased person after he has been put in his shroud.

جنازہ تیار ہو تو لوگوں کو خبر دینا

(5) CHAPTER. What is said regarding conveying the news of the funeral (procession).

اس شخص کی فضیلت جس کی کوئی اولاد مر جائے اور وہ اجر کی نیت سے صبر کرے

(6) CHAPTER. The superiority of the person whose child dies and he faces the event with patience hoping for Allah's reward.

کسی مرد کا کسی عورت سے قبر کے پاس یہ کہنا کہ صبر کر

(7) CHAPTER. The saying of a man to a woman at the grave, “Be patient.”

میت کو پانی اور بیری کے پتوں سے غسل دینا اور وضو کرانا

(8) CHAPTER. The bath of a dead (Muslim) and his ablution with water and Sidr (lote-tree leaves).

میت کو طاق مرتبہ غسل دینا مستحب ہے

(9) CHAPTER. It is desirable to wash (the dead body) for an odd number of times.

اس بیان میں کہ ( غسل ) میت کی دائیں طرف سے شروع کیا جائے

(10) CHAPTER. To start from the right side while giving a bath to a dead body.

اس بارے میں کہ پہلے میت کے اعضاء وضو کو دھویا جائے

(11) CHAPTER. (To start with) the parts of the dead body which are washed in ablution.

اس بیان میں کہ کیا عورت کو مرد کے ازار کا کفن دیا جا سکتا ہے ؟

(12) CHAPTER. Can a woman be shrouded in the waist-sheet of a man?

میت کے غسل میں کافور کا استعمال آخر میں ایک بار کیا جائے

(13) CHAPTER. To Sprinkle camphor on the dead body as the last thing (before shrouding).

میت عورت ہو تو غسل کے وقت اس کے بال کھولنا

(14) CHAPTER. To undo the hair of a (dead) female.

میت پر کپڑا کیونکر لپیٹنا چا ہیے

(15) CHAPTER. How to shroud a dead body.

اس بیان میں کہ کیا عورت میت کے بال تین لٹوں میں تقسیم کر دیئے جائیں ؟

(16) CHAPTER. To entwine the head-hair of a (dead) woman in three braids.

عورت کے بالوں کی تین لٹیں بنا کر اس کے پیچھے ڈال دی جائیں

(17) CHAPTER. To make the hair of a (dead) woman fall at her back.

اس بارے میں کہ کفن کے لیے سفید کپڑے ہونے مناسب ہیں

(18) CHAPTER. White cloth for the shroud.

دو کپڑوں میں کفن دینا

(19) CHAPTER. Shrouding in two pieces of cloth.

میت کو خوشبو لگانا

(20) CHAPTER. The perfuming of a dead body with Hanut (a kind of perfume).
