کتاب جنازے کے احکام و مسائل

The book of al-janaiz (funerals).

محرم کو کیونکر کفن دیا جائے

(21) CHAPTER. How to shroud a Muhrim.

قمیص میں کفن دینا اور اس کاحاشیہ سلا ہوا ہو یا بغیر سلا ہوا ہو اور بغیر قمیص کے کفن دینا

(22) CHAPTER. To shroud one in a shirt, stitched or unstitched.

بغیر قمیص کے کفن دینا

(23) CHAPTER. To shroud (a dead) body without using a shirt.

عمامہ کے بغیر کفن دینے کا بیان

(24) CHAPTER. Using no turban in shrouding.

کفن کی تیاری میت کے سارے مال میں سے کرنا چاہیے

(25) CHAPTER. To shroud one with (the price of) all of one's property.

اگر میت کے پاس ایک ہی کپڑا نکلے

(26) CHAPTER. If there is nothing except one piece of cloth (for shrouding).

جب کفن کا کپڑا چھوٹا ہو کہ سر اور پاؤں دونوں نہ ڈھک سکیں تو سر چھپا دیں ( اور پاؤں پر گھاس وغیرہ ڈال دیں )

(27) CHAPTER. If sufficient cloth for the shroud is not available but only that much which covers the head or the feet, then the head is to be covered.

ان کے بیان میں جنہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانہ میں اپنا کفن خود ہی تیار رکھا اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس پر کسی طرح کا اعتراض نہیں فرمایا

(28) CHAPTER. (If) somebody prepared his shroud (before his death) (in the lifetime of the Prophet and the Prophet did not object to that).

عورتوں کا جنازے کے ساتھ جانا کیسا ہے ؟

(29) CHAPTER. (Is it permissible for) women to accompany the funeral procession?

عورت کا اپنے خاوند کے سوا اور کسی پر سوگ کرنا کیسا ہے ؟

(30) CHAPTER. The mourning of a woman for a dead person other than her husband.

قبروں کی زیارت کرنا

(31) CHAPTER. Visiting the graves.

آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا یہ فرمانا کہ میت پر اس کے گھر والوں کے رونے سےعذاب ہوتا ہے یعنی جب رونا ماتم کرنا میت کے خاندان کی رسم ہو ۔

(32) CHAPTER. The statement of the Prophet : The deceased is punished because of the weeping (with wailing) of some of his relatives, if wailing was the custome of that dead person.

میت پر نوحہ کرنا مکروہ ہے

(33) CHAPTER. What (sort of) wailing over a deceased is disliked.

(34) CHAPTER.

آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا یہ فرمانا کہ گریبان چاک کرنے والے ہم میں سے نہیں ہیں

(35) CHAPTER. He who tears off his clothes (when afflicted with a calamity) is not from us.

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا سعد بن خولہ رضی اللہ عنہ کی وفات پر افسوس کرنا

(36) CHAPTER. The sorrow of the Prophet for Sa'd bin Khaula.

غمی کے وقت سر منڈوانے کی ممانعت

(37) CHAPTER. Shaving the head on the falling of a calamity is forbidden.

رخسار پیٹنے والے ہم میں سے نہیں ہیں ( یعنی ہماری امت سے خارج ہیں )

(38) CHAPTER. He who slaps his cheeks is not from us.

اس بارے میں کہ مصیبت کے وقت جاہلیت کی باتیں اور واویلا کرنے کی ممانعت ہے

(39) CHAPTER. Prohibition of wailing and following the traditions of the Days of Ignorance when afflicted with a calamity.

جو شخص مصیبت کے وقت ایسا بیٹھے کہ وہ غمگین دکھائی دے

(40) CHAPTER. Whoever sat down and looked sad when afflicted with a calamity.
