کتاب غلاموں کی آزادی کے بیان میں

The book of manumission (of slaves).

غلام آزاد کرنے کا ثواب

(1) CHAPTER. What is said regarding the manumission and its superiority.

کیسا غلام آزاد کرنا افضل ہے ؟

(2) CHAPTER. What is the best kind of manumission (of slaves)?

سورج گرہن اور دوسری نشانیوں کے وقت غلام آزاد کرنا مستحب ہے

(3) CHAPTER. Manumitting slaves at the time of eclipses, or on the appearance of some of other signs of Allah, is recommended.

اگر مشترک غلام یا لونڈی کو آزاد کر دیا جائے

(4) CHAPTER. If one manumits a male slave owned by two persons or a female slave owned by a number of partners.

اگر کسی شخص نے ساجھے کے غلام میں اپنا حصہ آزاد کر دیا اور وہ نادار ہے تو دوسرے ساجھے والوں کے لیے اس سے محنت مزدوری کرائی جائے گی جیسے مکاتب سے کراتے ہیں ، اس پر سختی نہیں کی جائے گی ۔

(5) CHAPTER. Whoever manumits his portion of a common slave and does not possess enough money to manumit him completely, then that slave should be helped to work without hardship to earn what will enable him to get complete freedom according to the writing (of emancipation)

اگر بھول چوک کر کسی کی زبان سے عتاق ( آزادی ) یا طلاق یا اور کوئی ایسی ہی چیز نکل جائے

(6) CHAPTER. What is said about manumission and divorce by mistake or forgetfulness. Manumission of slave should be for Allah's sake only.

ایک شخص نے آزاد کرنے کی نیت سے اپنے غلام سے کہہ دیا کہ وہ اللہ کے لیے ہے ( تو وہ آزاد ہو گیا ) اور آزادی کے ثبوت کے لیے گواہ ( ضروری ہیں )

(7) CHAPTER. If somebody says to his slave that he is for Allah; and by that he intends to manumit him (the slave is manumitted). And the witness for manumission.

ام ولد کا بیان

(8) CHAPTER. Umm Al-Walad (i.e., a slave woman who begets a child for her master).

مدبر کی بیع کا بیان

(9) CHAPTER. The selling of a Mudabbar (i.e., the slave who is declared by his master to be manumitted after his master's death).

ولاء ( غلام یا لونڈی کا ترکہ ) بیچنا یا ہبہ کرنا

(10) CHAPTER. The selling and conferring on others of the Wala of a manumitted slave.

اگر کسی مسلمان کا مشرک بھائی یا چچا قید ہو کر آئے تو کیا ( ان کو چھڑانے کے لیے ) اس کی طرف سے فدیہ دیا جا سکتا ہے ؟

(11) CHAPTER. If the brother or the uncle of somebody was taken as a war prisoner, then can he ransom him if he is a Mushrik?

مشرک غلام کو آزادکرنے کا ثواب ملے گا یا نہیں ؟

(12) CHAPTER. Manumission of a Mushrik (pagan, polytheist, idolater)

اگر عربوں پر جہاد ہو اور کوئی ان کو غلام بنائے پھر ہبہ کرے یا عربی لونڈی سے جماع کرے یا فدیہ لے یہ سب باتیں درست ہیں یا بچوں کو قید کرے

(13) CHAPTER. Whoever possessed Arab slaves and gave them as a presents, or sold them, or had a sexual relation with the females among them, or accepted their ransom, or took their offspring as captives.

جو شخص اپنی لونڈی کو ادب اور علم سکھائے ، اس کی فضیلت کا بیان

(14) CHAPTER. The superiority of him who teaches his slave-girl good manners.

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا یہ فرمانا کہ ” غلام تمہارے بھائی ہیں پس ان کو بھی تم اسی میں سے کھلاؤ جو تم خود کھاتے ہو “

(15) CHAPTER. The saying of Prophet : Slaves are your brothers, so feed them with the like of what you eat.”

جب غلام اپنے رب کی عبادت بھی اچھی طرح کرے اور اپنے آقا کی خیرخواہی بھی تو اس کے ثواب کا بیان

(16) CHAPTER. (The reward of) a slave who worships his Lord (Allah) and he is also honest and faithful to his master.

غلام پر دست درازی کرنا اور یوں کہنا کہ یہ میرا غلام ہے یا لونڈی مکروہ ہے

(17) CHAPTER. It is disliked to look down upon a slave or to say, My slave or My slave-girl.

جب کسی کا خادم کھانا لے کر آئے

(18) CHAPTER. When your servant brings your meal to you?

غلام اپنے آقا کے مال کا نگہبان ہے اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( غلام کے ) مال کو اس کے آقا کی طرف منسوب کیا ہے

(19) CHAPTER. The slave is a guardian of the property of his master.

اگرکوئی غلام یا لونڈی کو مارے تو چہرے پر نہ مارے

(20) CHAPTER. If somebody beats a slave, he should avoid his face.
