1 وَاتَّبَعُوْا And they followed اور پیچھے پڑگئے / پیروی کرنے لگے 2 مَا what اس کی جو 3 تَتْلُوا recite(d) پڑھتے تھے 4 الشَّيٰطِيْنُ the devils شیطان 5 عَلٰي over اوپر 6 مُلْكِ (the) kingdom بادشاہت 7 سُلَيْمٰنَ (of) Sulaiman سلیمان کی 8 وَمَا And not حالانکہ نہیں 9 كَفَرَ disbelieved کفر کیا تھا 10 سُلَيْمٰنُ Sulaiman سلیمان نے 11 وَلٰكِنَّ [and] but بلکہ / لیکن 12 الشَّيٰطِيْنَ the devils شیاطین نے 13 كَفَرُوْا disbelieved کفر کیا تھا 14 يُعَلِّمُوْنَ they teach وہ تعلیم دیتے تھے 15 النَّاسَ the people لوگوں کو 16 السِّحْرَ [the] magic جادو کی 17 وَمَآ and what اور اس کی جو 18 اُنْزِلَ was sent down نازل کیا گیا تھا 19 عَلَي to اوپر 20 الْمَلَكَيْنِ the two angels دو فرشتوں کے 21 بِبَابِلَ in Babylon بابل میں 22 ھَارُوْتَ Harut ہاروت 23 وَمَارُوْتَ and Marut اور ماروت ( پر) 24 وَمَا And not اورنہیں 25 يُعَلِّمٰنِ they both teach وہ دونوں سکھاتے تھے 26 مِنْ any اور 27 اَحَدٍ one کسی ایک کو 28 حَتّٰى unless یہاں تک کہ 29 يَقُوْلَآ they [both] say وہ دونوں کہتے 30 اِنَّمَا "Only بیشک 31 نَحْنُ we ہم 32 فِتْنَةٌ (are) a trial آزمائش ہیں/ فتنہ ہیں 33 فَلَا so (do) not تو نہ 34 تَكْفُرْ disbelieve" تم کفر کرو 35 فَيَتَعَلَّمُوْنَ But they learn تو وہ سیکھتے تھے 36 مِنْهُمَا from those two ان دونوں سے 37 مَا what اس کو جو 38 يُفَرِّقُوْنَ [they] causes separation وہ تفریق ڈال دیں 39 بِهٖ with it ساتھ اس کے 40 بَيْنَ between درمیان 41 الْمَرْءِ the man شوہر کے 42 وَزَوْجِهٖ and his spouse اور اس کی بیوی کے 43 وَمَا And not حالانکہ نہیں تھے 44 ھُمْ they (could) وہ 45 بِضَاۗرِّيْنَ at all [be those who] harm نقصان دینے والے / ضرر پہنچانے والے 46 بِهٖ with it ساتھ اس کے 47 مِنْ any سے 48 اَحَدٍ one کسی ایک کو 49 اِلَّا except مگر 50 بِاِذْنِ by permission ساتھ اذن 51 اللّٰهِ (of) Allah اللہ کے 52 وَيَتَعَلَّمُوْنَ And they learn اور وہ سیکھتے تھے 53 مَا what وہ جو 54 يَضُرُّھُمْ harms them نقصان دیتا تھا ان کو 55 وَلَا and not اور نا 56 يَنْفَعُھُمْ profits them نفع دیتا ان کو 57 وَلَقَدْ And indeed اور البتہ تحقیق 58 عَلِمُوْا they knew وہ جانتے تھے 59 لَمَنِ that whoever البتہ جو بھی 60 اشْتَرٰىھُ buys it خریدے گا اس کو 61 مَا not نہیں ہے 62 لَهٗ for him اس کے لئیے 63 فِي in میں 64 الْاٰخِرَةِ the Hereafter آخرت 65 مِنْ any سے 66 خَلَاقٍ share کوئی حصہ 67 وَلَبِئْسَ And surely evil اور البتہ کتنا برا تھا 68 مَا (is) what جو 69 شَرَوْا they sold انہوں بیچ ڈالا 70 بِهٖٓ with it سساتھ اس کے 71 اَنْفُسَھُمْ themselves اپنی جانوں کو 72 لَوْ if کاش 73 كَانُوْا they were وہ ہوتے 74 يَعْلَمُوْنَ (to) know وہ جانتے
