وصیت کا حکم اور دوران سفر شدید بیماری میں مسلم یا غیرمسلم کو گواہ بنانے کا ذکر

O you who have believed, testimony [should be taken] among you when death approaches one of you at the time of bequest - [that of] two just men from among you or two others from outside if you are traveling through the land and the disaster of death should strike you. Detain them after the prayer and let them both swear by Allah if you doubt [their testimony, saying], "We will not exchange our oath for a price, even if he should be a near relative, and we will not withhold the testimony of Allah . Indeed, we would then be of the sinful."
اے ایمان والو! تمہارے آپس میں دو شخص کا گواہ ہونا مناسب ہے جبکہ تم میں سے کسی کو موت آنے لگے اور وصیت کرنے کا وقت ہو وہ دو شخص ایسے ہوں کہ دیندار ہوں خواہ تم میں سے ہوں یا غیر لوگوں میں سے دو شخص ہوں اگر تم کہیں سفر میں گئے ہو اور تمہیں موت آجائے اگر تم کو شبہ ہو تو ان دونوں کو بعد نماز روک لو پھر دونوں اللہ کی قسم کھائیں کہ ہم اس قسم کے عوض کوئی نفع نہیں لینا چاہتے اگرچہ کوئی قرابت دار بھی ہو اور اللہ تعالٰی کی بات کو ہم پوشیدہ نہ کریں گے ہم اس حالت میں سخت گناہ گار ہوں گے ۔
But if it is found that those two were guilty of perjury, let two others stand in their place [who are] foremost [in claim] from those who have a lawful right. And let them swear by Allah , "Our testimony is truer than their testimony, and we have not transgressed. Indeed, we would then be of the wrongdoers."
پھر اگر اس کی اطلاع ہو کہ وہ دونوں گواہ کسی گناہ کے مرتکب ہوئے ہیں تو ان لوگوں میں سے جن کے مقابلہ میں گناہ کا ارتکاب ہوا تھا اور دو شخص جو سب میں قریب تر ہیں جہاں وہ دونوں کھڑے ہوئے تھے یہ دونوں کھڑے ہوں پھر دونوں اللہ کی قسم کھائیں کہ بالیقین ہماری یہ قسم ان دونوں کی اس قسم سے زیادہ راست ہے اور ہم نے ذرا تجاوز نہیں کیا ، ہم اس حالت میں سخت ظالم ہونگے ۔
That is more likely that they will give testimony according to its [true] objective, or [at least] they would fear that [other] oaths might be taken after their oaths. And fear Allah and listen; and Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.
یہ قریب ذریعہ ہے اس امر کا کہ وہ لوگ واقعہ کو ٹھیک طور پر ظاہر کریں یا اس بات سے ڈر جائیں کہ ان سے قسمیں لینے کے بعد قسمیں الٹی پڑ جائیں گی اور اللہ تعالٰی سے ڈرو اور سنو! اور اللہ تعالٰی فاسق لوگوں کو ہدایت نہیں کرتا ۔
