1 وَاخْتَارَ And chose اور چن لیا 2 مُوْسٰي Musa موسیٰ نے 3 قَوْمَهٗ (from) his people اپنی قوم سے 4 سَبْعِيْنَ seventy ستر 5 رَجُلًا men لوگوں کو 6 لِّمِيْقَاتِنَا for Our appointment ہماری ملاقات کے لیے 7 فَلَمَّآ Then when پھر جب 8 اَخَذَتْهُمُ seized them پکڑ لیا ان کو 9 الرَّجْفَةُ the earthquake زلزلے نے 10 قَالَ he said اس نے عرض کی 11 رَبِّ "O my Lord! اے میرے رب 12 لَوْ If اگر 13 شِئْتَ you (had) willed تو چاہتا 14 اَهْلَكْتَهُمْ You (could) have destroyed them ہلاک کردیتا تو ان کو 15 مِّنْ from اس سے 16 قَبْلُ before پہلے 17 وَاِيَّايَ and me اور مجھ کو بھی 18 اَتُهْلِكُنَا Would You destroy us کیا تو ہلاک کرتا ہے ہمیں 19 بِمَا for what بوجہ اس کے جو 20 فَعَلَ did کیا 21 السُّفَهَاۗءُ the foolish کچھ بیوقوفوں نے 22 مِنَّا among us? ہم میں سے 23 اِنْ Not نہیں ہے 24 هِىَ it (was) یہ 25 اِلَّا but مگر 26 فِتْنَتُكَ Your trial آزمائش تیری (تیری طرف سے) 27 تُضِلُّ You let go astray تو بھٹکاتا ہے 28 بِهَا by it اس کے ساتھ 29 مَنْ whom جس کو 30 تَشَاۗءُ You will تو چاہتا ہے 31 وَتَهْدِيْ and You guide اور تو ہدایت دیتا ہے 32 مَنْ whom جس کو 33 تَشَاۗءُ You will تو چاہتا ہے 34 اَنْتَ You تو ہی 35 وَلِيُّنَا (are) our Protector دوست ہے ہمارا۔ سرپرست ہے ہمارا 36 فَاغْفِرْ so forgive پس بخش دے 37 لَنَا us ہم کو 38 وَارْحَمْنَا and have mercy upon us رحم فرما ہم پر 39 وَاَنْتَ and You اور تو 40 خَيْرُ (are) Best سب سے اچھا ہے 41 الْغٰفِرِيْنَ (of) Forgivers معاف کرنے والوں میں۔ بخشنے والوں میں
