1 اُحِلَّ Permitted حلال کیا گیا 2 لَكُمْ for you تمہارے لیے 3 لَيْلَةَ (in the) nights رات میں 4 الصِّيَامِ (of) fasting روزوں کو 5 الرَّفَثُ (is) the approach رغبت کرنا 6 اِلٰى to طرف 7 نِسَاۗىِٕكُمْ your wives تمہاری بیویوں کے 8 ھُنَّ They وہ 9 لِبَاسٌ (are) garments لباس ہیں 10 لَّكُمْ for you تمہارے لیے 11 وَاَنْتُمْ and you اور تم 12 لِبَاسٌ (are) garments لباس ہو 13 لَّهُنَّ for them ان کے لیے 14 عَلِمَ Knows جان لیا 15 اللّٰهُ Allah اللہ نے 16 اَنَّكُمْ that you بیشک تم 17 كُنْتُمْ used to تھے تم 18 تَخْتَانُوْنَ deceive تم خیانت کرتے۔ تم خیانت کر رہے 19 اَنْفُسَكُمْ yourselves اپنے نفسوں سے 20 فَتَابَ so He turned تو وہ مہربان ہوا 21 عَلَيْكُمْ towards you تم پر 22 وَعَفَا and He forgave اور اس نے درگزر کیا 23 عَنْكُمْ [on] you تم سے 24 فَالْئٰنَ So now تو (پس) اب 25 بَاشِرُوْھُنَّ have relations with them مباشرت کرو ان سے 26 وَابْتَغُوْا and seek اور تلاش کرو 27 مَا what جو 28 كَتَبَ has ordained لکھا 29 اللّٰهُ Allah اللہ نے 30 لَكُمْ for you تمہارے لیے 31 وَكُلُوْا And eat اور کھاؤ 32 وَاشْرَبُوْا and drink اور پیو 33 حَتّٰى until یہاں تک کہ 34 يَتَبَيَّنَ becomes distinct واضح ہوجائے۔ ظاہر ہوجائے 35 لَكُمُ to you تمہارے لیے 36 الْخَيْطُ the thread دھاگہ 37 الْاَبْيَضُ [the] white سفید 38 مِنَ from سے 39 الْخَيْطِ the thread دھاگے 40 الْاَسْوَدِ [the] black سیاہ (سے) 41 مِنَ of سے 42 الْفَجْرِ [the] dawn فجر سے (فجر کے وقت) 43 ثُمَّ Then پھر 44 اَتِمُّوا complete تم پورا کرو 45 الصِّيَامَ the fast روزے کو 46 اِلَى till تک 47 الَّيْلِ the night رات 48 وَلَا And (do) not اور نہ 49 تُـبَاشِرُوْھُنَّ have relations with them تم مباشرت کرو ان سے 50 وَاَنْتُمْ while you اس حال میں کہ تم 51 عٰكِفُوْنَ (are) secluded اعتکاف کرنے والے ہو 52 فِي in میں 53 الْمَسٰجِدِ the masajid مسجدوں (میں) 54 تِلْكَ These یہ 55 حُدُوْدُ (are the) limits حدود ہیں 56 اللّٰهِ (set by) Allah اللہ کی 57 فَلَا so (do) not تو نہ 58 تَقْرَبُوْھَا approach them تم قریب جانا ان کے 59 كَذٰلِكَ Thus اسی طرح 60 يُبَيِّنُ makes clear بیان کرتا ہے 61 اللّٰهُ Allah اللہ 62 اٰيٰتِهٖ His verses آیات اپنی 63 لِلنَّاسِ for [the] people لوگوں کے لیے 64 لَعَلَّهُمْ so that they may تاکہ وہ 65 يَتَّقُوْنَ (become) righteous بچیں
