1 يَسْتَـفْتُوْنَكَ They seek your ruling وہ فتوے مانگتے ہیں آپ سے 2 قُلِ Say کہہ دیجیے کہ 3 اللّٰهُ "Allah اللہ 4 يُفْتِيْكُمْ gives you a ruling فتوی دیتا ہے تم کو 5 فِي concerning میں 6 الْكَلٰلَةِ the Kalala کلالہ کے بارے 7 اِنِ if اگر 8 امْرُؤٌا a man کوئی شخص 9 هَلَكَ died فوت ہوجائے 10 لَيْسَ (and) not نہیں ہے 11 لَهٗ he has اس کے لیے 12 وَلَدٌ a child کوئی بچہ۔ اولاد 13 وَّلَهٗٓ and he has اور اس کے لیے 14 اُخْتٌ a sister بہن ہے 15 فَلَهَا then for her تو اس (بہن) کے لیے 16 نِصْفُ (is) a half آدھا ہے 17 مَا (of) what جو 18 تَرَكَ he left اس نے چھوڑا 19 وَهُوَ And he اور وہ 20 يَرِثُهَآ will inherit from her خود وارث ہوگا اس کا 21 اِنْ if اگر 22 لَّمْ not نہ 23 يَكُنْ is ہو 24 لَّهَا for her اس (بہن) کے لیے 25 وَلَدٌ a child کوئی بچہ 26 فَاِنْ But if پھر اگر 27 كَانَتَا there were وہ دونوں ہوں 28 اثْنَـتَيْنِ two females دو بہنیں 29 فَلَهُمَا then for them تو ان دونوں کے لیے 30 الثُّلُثٰنِ two thirds دو تہائی ہے 31 مِمَّا of what اس میں سے جو 32 تَرَكَ he left اس نے چھوڑا 33 وَاِنْ But if اور اگر 34 كَانُوْٓا they were وہ ہوں 35 اِخْوَةً brothers and sisters کئی بہن بھائی 36 رِّجَالًا men مرد 37 وَّنِسَاۗءً and women اور عورتیں 38 فَلِلذَّكَرِ then the male will have تو واسطے مرد کے 39 مِثْلُ like مانند 40 حَظِّ share حصہ 41 الْاُنْثَـيَيْنِ (of) the two females دو عورتوں کے ہے 42 يُـبَيِّنُ makes clear بیان کرتا ہے 43 اللّٰهُ Allah اللہ 44 لَكُمْ to you تمہارے لیے 45 اَنْ lest کہ نہ 46 تَضِلُّوْا you go astray تم گمراہ ہوجاؤ۔ کہ تم گمراہ ہوجاؤ 47 وَاللّٰهُ And Allah اور اللہ 48 بِكُلِّ of every ساتھ ہر 49 شَيْءٍ thing چیز کے 50 عَلِيْمٌ (is) All-Knower جاننے والا ہے
