1 وَّالْمُحْصَنٰتُ And (prohibited are) the ones who are married اور جو شادی شدہ ہیں 2 مِنَ of میں سے 3 النِّسَاۗءِ the women عورتوں 4 اِلَّا except مگر 5 مَا whom وہ جن کے 6 مَلَكَتْ you possess مالک ہوئے 7 اَيْمَانُكُمْ rightfully تمہارے دائیں ہاتھ 8 كِتٰبَ Decree لکھی ہوئی بات ہے 9 اللّٰهِ (of) Allah اللہ کی۔ 10 عَلَيْكُمْ upon you تم پر 11 وَاُحِلَّ And are lawful اور حلال کیا گیا 12 لَكُمْ to you تمہارے لئیے 13 مَّا what جو 14 وَرَاۗءَ (is) beyond علاوہ ہیں ان کے 15 ذٰلِكُمْ that یہ اس لئیے کہ 16 اَنْ that یہ کہ 17 تَبْتَغُوْا you seek تلاش کرو تم 18 بِاَمْوَالِكُمْ with your wealth اپنے مالوں کے ساتھ 19 مُّحْصِنِيْنَ desiring to be chaste قید نکاح میں لانے والے 20 غَيْرَ not نہ 21 مُسٰفِحِيْنَ (to be) lustful بدکاری کرنے والے 22 فَـمَا So what تو جو 23 اسْتَمْتَعْتُمْ you benefit[ed] تم فائدہ اٹھاو 24 بِهٖ of it ساتھ اس کے 25 مِنْھُنَّ from them ان عورتوں سے 26 فَاٰتُوْھُنَّ so you give them تو دے دو انکو 27 اُجُوْرَھُنَّ their bridal due مہر ان کے 28 فَرِيْضَةً (as) an obligation بطور فرض 29 وَلَا And (there is) no اور نہیں 30 جُنَاحَ sin کوئی گناہ 31 عَلَيْكُمْ on you تم پر 32 فِيْمَا concerning what اس معاملہ میں جو 33 تَرٰضَيْتُمْ you mutually agree ہم رضا مند ہوئے 34 بِهٖ of it ساتھ اس کے 35 مِنْۢ from کے 36 بَعْدِ beyond بعد 37 الْفَرِيْضَةِ the obligation مہر 38 اِنَّ Indeed بیشک 39 اللّٰهَ Allah اللہ 40 كَانَ is ہے 41 عَلِــيْمًا All-Knowing جاننے والا ہے 42 حَكِـيْمًا All-Wise حکمت والا ہے
