ثُمَّ اَمَاتَہٗ فَاَقۡبَرَہٗ ﴿ۙ۲۱﴾

Then He causes his death and provides a grave for him.

پھر اسے موت دی اور پھر قبر میں دفن کیا ۔

ثُمَّ اِذَا شَآءَ اَنۡشَرَہٗ ﴿ؕ۲۲﴾

Then when He wills, He will resurrect him.

پھر جب چاہے گا اسے زندہ کر دے گا ۔

کَلَّا لَمَّا یَقۡضِ مَاۤ اَمَرَہٗ ﴿ؕ۲۳﴾

No! Man has not yet accomplished what He commanded him.

ہرگز نہیں اس نے اب تک اللہ کے حکم کی بجا آوری نہیں کی ۔

فَلۡیَنۡظُرِ الۡاِنۡسَانُ اِلٰی طَعَامِہٖۤ ﴿ۙ۲۴﴾

Then let mankind look at his food -

انسان کو چاہیے کہ اپنے کھانے کو دیکھے ۔

اَنَّا صَبَبۡنَا الۡمَآءَ صَبًّا ﴿ۙ۲۵﴾

How We poured down water in torrents,

کہ ہم نے خوب پانی برسایا ۔

ثُمَّ شَقَقۡنَا الۡاَرۡضَ شَقًّا ﴿ۙ۲۶﴾

Then We broke open the earth, splitting [it with sprouts],

پھر پھاڑا زمین کو اچھی طرح ۔

فَاَنۡۢبَتۡنَا فِیۡہَا حَبًّا ﴿ۙ۲۷﴾

And caused to grow within it grain

پھر اس سے میں اناج اگائے ۔

وَّ عِنَبًا وَّ قَضۡبًا ﴿ۙ۲۸﴾

And grapes and herbage

اور انگور اور ترکاری ۔

وَّ زَیۡتُوۡنًا وَّ نَخۡلًا ﴿ۙ۲۹﴾

And olive and palm trees

اور زیتون اور کھجور ۔

وَّ حَدَآئِقَ غُلۡبًا ﴿ۙ۳۰﴾

And gardens of dense shrubbery

اور گنجان باغات ۔

وَّ فَاکِہَۃً وَّ اَبًّا ﴿ۙ۳۱﴾

And fruit and grass -

اور میوہ اور ( گھاس ) چارہ ( بھی اگایا ) ۔

مَّتَاعًا لَّکُمۡ وَ لِاَنۡعَامِکُمۡ ﴿ؕ۳۲﴾

[As] enjoyment for you and your grazing livestock.

تمہارے استعمال و فائدہ کے لئے اور تمہارے چوپایوں کے لئے ۔

فَاِذَا جَآءَتِ الصَّآخَّۃُ ﴿۫۳۳﴾

But when there comes the Deafening Blast

پس جب کہ کان بہرے کر دینے والی ( قیامت ) آ جائے گی ۔

یَوۡمَ یَفِرُّ الۡمَرۡءُ مِنۡ اَخِیۡہِ ﴿ۙ۳۴﴾

On the Day a man will flee from his brother

اس دن آدمی اپنے بھائی سے ۔

وَ اُمِّہٖ وَ اَبِیۡہِ ﴿ۙ۳۵﴾

And his mother and his father

اور اپنی ماں اور اپنے باپ سے ۔

وَ صَاحِبَتِہٖ وَ بَنِیۡہِ ﴿ؕ۳۶﴾

And his wife and his children,

اور اپنی بیوی اور اپنی اولاد سےبھاگے گا ۔

لِکُلِّ امۡرِیًٔ مِّنۡہُمۡ یَوۡمَئِذٍ شَاۡنٌ یُّغۡنِیۡہِ ﴿ؕ۳۷﴾

For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him.

ان میں سے ہر ایک کو اس دن ایسی فکر ( دامن گیر ) ہوگی جو اس کے لئے کافی ہوگی ۔

وُجُوۡہٌ یَّوۡمَئِذٍ مُّسۡفِرَۃٌ ﴿ۙ۳۸﴾

[Some] faces, that Day, will be bright -

اس دن بہت سے چہرے روشن ہونگے ۔

ضَاحِکَۃٌ مُّسۡتَبۡشِرَۃٌ ﴿ۚ۳۹﴾

Laughing, rejoicing at good news.

۔ ( جو ) ہنستے ہوئے اور ہشاش بشاش ہوں گے ۔

وَ وُجُوۡہٌ یَّوۡمَئِذٍ عَلَیۡہَا غَبَرَۃٌ ﴿ۙ۴۰﴾

And [other] faces, that Day, will have upon them dust.

اور بہت سے چہرے اس دن غبار آلود ہوں گے ۔
